I am an American freelance scientific illustrator and professional artist with a BS in biology. After college, I worked four years in husbandry and education at the Oklahoma Aquarium. In 2009, I graduated with a Masters Certificate in Science Illustration, from the University of California Santa Cruz.
From there I flew to an internship with Scientific American magazine in New York, NY. Then next four years I interned and worked for the American Museum of Natural History in paleontology and exhibitions departments, including work preparing four traveling shows. Also, I have freelanced for NASA at Ames, NOAA and Electronic Publishing Services EPS.
Currently I’m based in Tulsa Oklahoma. With frequent trips to NYC.
